The drought in the southern part of Oromia especially in the Borana zone made thousands of livestock perish. Half a million residents depend on livestock products are now longing for aid. The severity of the drought in the Borana zone is to extent that all Thirteen woredas fave shortage of cattle, food, and water. This caused over 60,000 castles dead and many unable to move without human assistance.
